These terms apply to your use of Crosscheck, an independent educational decision-support plugin for ChatGPT.

Educational use only

Crosscheck provides general educational information and decision support. It is not a financial adviser, investment adviser, lawyer, accountant, tax professional, pension administrator, employer, union representative, or government service.

Crosscheck does not provide individualized investment recommendations and does not tell you which financial decision to make. You remain responsible for your decisions and for verifying information that matters to them.

Source verification

Crosscheck is designed to prefer authoritative sources and to distinguish verified rules from assumptions. Pension, tax, employment, benefit and account rules can change or depend on facts that Crosscheck does not have. Before acting, confirm material information with the relevant official source or a qualified professional.

No affiliation

Crosscheck is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Toronto Police Service, the Toronto Police Association, OMERS, OpenAI, or any government body.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Crosscheck to facilitate fraud, evade legal obligations, obtain or expose another person's confidential information, or submit credentials, payment-card information, government identifiers, or other restricted data that is unnecessary for the service.

Availability and accuracy

Crosscheck is provided on an “as available” basis. While the project is designed to improve clarity and source quality, no guarantee is made that every response will be complete, current, or error-free.

Limitation

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Crosscheck publisher is not responsible for losses arising from decisions made solely in reliance on Crosscheck output. Where the stakes are material, obtain confirmation from the appropriate official source or qualified adviser.

These terms may be updated as Crosscheck changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
